First, preheat the oven to 180 degrees and wash the potatoes thoroughly. Then finely slice them with a slicer and salt them thoroughly.
Either finely chop the garlic or press it through a press. Melt the margarine in a pan, add the garlic and remove from the heat.
Grease an ovenproof dish with the margarine and arrange the potato slices upright in stacks in a circle. Add the rosemary here and there, pour in the stock and brush everything with the margarine.
Now just bake for 45-50 minutes at 180 degrees and sprinkle with salt and pepper again before serving - done!
Optionally, for extra protein, add herb quark (or vegan yogurt/quark).
